The O.C. Memorable Moments: We're from two different worlds..

How about that time when Ryan told Marissa to hit the road at the model home - using his confusing light-on-words neanderthal Chino speak that is "We're from different worlds". At the time Marissa didn't exactly know what she wanted but she sure as heck was getting really tired of Luke and his shallow friends/parties. Marissa felt a real spark with someone she hardly knew which spoke volumes about her current relationship. Marissa couldn't help but be drawn to Ryan and defend him even though it could mean the end for her and Luke, it was a risk worth taking..We know the feeling was mutual for Ryan too (at least initially, until Oliver!).

The O.C. in the News: Mischa Barton joins The Hills Reboot!

It was announced yesterday that The O.C.'s Mischa Barton will be joining the cast of MTV's "reality TV" show 'The Hills' reboot. If you forgot - 'The Hills' was inspired by The O.C. and was created in 2006. The show had 6 seasons and 102 episodes. 'The Hills' was highly successful capitalizing on the scripted reality trend that hit hard in the early 2000's.

Mischa says: “The secrets out... I’m joining the cast of The Hills. When MTV approached me with the chance to be a part of the reality show that was inspired by The OC, it felt like the perfect opportunity for an irresistibly inviting new chapter”

And here's the latest video Mischa Barton posted on her Instagram account..She's basically making a funny jab to The O.C.'s most memorable quote - "Welcome to The O.C. bitch!". We will have to see how this all plays out - we wish Mischa well, we know she needs a steady successful gig! Now how about a reboot of the show that inspired 'The Hills'?! The O.C. REBOOT anyone?!
